General nutritional needs are there for all women. On a weekly basis, women should take 8 to 12 ounces of seafood. Beneficial fish oils that are rich in omega- 3 fatty acids are contained in seafood and they are of alot of help to the body. It is not recommended for a pregnant or nursing woman to take more than 6 ounces of seafood such as tuna, shark, swordfish, king mackerel, and tilefish.
